Register in the System

1. Search for and find an opportunity.
2. Apply for that opportunity.
3. You will be walked through the volunteer registration process when applying.

Login

1. Click the "Login" link at the top of the page.
2. Enter your Username and Password.
3. Click the "Volunteer Login" button
4. You will be taken to your Volunteer Dashboard

Apply for Opportunities

1. Search for and find an opportunity.
2. Apply for that opportunity.
3. You will be walked through the volunteer registration process when applying.

Search for Opportunities

To search for open volunteer positions, please click the box "SEARCH OPPORTUNITIES" below and follow the directions. You will be offered the choice to do a "quick search," a search by "location" or a "detailed search."

Quick Search

1. If you know what you are searching for enter a descriptive keyword. Example: "library" or "election".
2. To see a list of all opportunities in the system, leave the form blank and select "See All Opportunities".

Search by Location

Enter a ZIP Code or City and click search. Volunteer opportunities that match the ZIP Code or City will be displayed.

Detailed Search

Depending upon the page you are on, the search options will be different. Some of the options are:

• Countywide:

  Interests: If you have areas of interest you would like to volunteer in, use the area of interests pulldown list. If you have more than one area of interest, then click search all. This will display all opportunities and you can select multiple areas of interest.

  City or ZIP Code: to find opportunities near you.

• Department specific criteria:

  Parks and Recreation: Search for opportunities using the list of Parks, programs, duration of opportunity, type of service, etc.

Note that adding more details to the search will focus the answers and limit the responses.
